Latest news: East Midlands Railway (EMR) unveiled its first refurbished Class 360 EMU, part of a EUR 69.1 million program in the UK. In Slovakia, ZSSK is upgrading its night train fleet with 10 modernised coaches for routes with Czechia. Stadler presented the FLIRT EMU design for Koleje Wielkopolskie in Poland, a EUR 130 million contract for 10 units featuring ETCS Level 2. Meanwhile, MEDWAY, Alpha Trains, and Stadler began dynamic tests for the ETCS+STM system on Portugal’s Poceirão–Vendas Novas line to enhance interoperability.
