We provide comprehensive services in testing, assessment, and certification of rail vehicles, infrastructure, and associated components. Operating in research and development since 1954, our primary clientele includes manufacturers of railway vehicles and components, transport operators, and infrastructure managers. Our expertise and capabilities also extend into other transport sectors and mechanical engineering fields.

Our vision is to become an internationally recognized organization with ambitions to succeed beyond Central Europe and the railway industry. We aim to achieve this through continuous improvement and enhancement of our expertise in certification and testing, the advancement of our VUZ Velim Test Centre, our Testing Laboratory, and expansion into international markets.

Thanks to our certifications (including ISO standards) and our status as a Notified, Designated, and Assessment Body (NoBo/DeBo/AsBo), we ensure compliance with international standards. We also prioritize cybersecurity and promote responsible, sustainable development aligned with ESG principles (Environmental, Social, and Governance). Testing Laboratory

Our testing laboratory specializes in a wide range of tests and measurements, from driving dynamics and structural strength to braking simulations and noise evaluations. Additionally, we offer mobile solutions, enabling us to perform selected tests directly at client locations.

Our Velim Test Centre conducts comprehensive validation of rail vehicles and components on modern test tracks and infrastructure. We provide essential services recognized by international accreditations.
