The Siemens Vectron locomotives will now run at the head of the EC 130/131 trains Báthory Budapest - Terespol across Poland from Bohumín via Warsaw to Terespol in Poland.

We value the cooperation with our foreign partners in the operation of interstate lines and we want to further develop cooperation with them in order to improve passenger services and expand the range of connections throughout Central Europe," says Michal Krapinec, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Czech Railways (ČD).
Czech Railways' locomotives currently operate throughout Central Europe, serving intercity trains from Flensburg in northern Germany, near the Danish border, to Budapest. The national carrier's blue machines can be seen in Kiel, Hamburg, Leipzig, Linz, Vienna, Žilina, Budapest and, more recently, Warsaw and Terespol in Poland. Czech Railways' locomotives will be at the forefront of international trains on foreign routes for almost 11,000 kilometres a day.
ČD has also ordered from Siemens Mobility and Škoda Group 50 Siemens Vectron electric locomotives and 20 nine-unit Comfort non-traction units Jet, which will be approved for operation at a maximum speed of 230 km/h in the Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark and Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria. The trains and locomotives will be delivered by 2026.
