The handover had a tripartite character, as the vehicle will ultimately be used by DB Cargo.

Manufactured by Siemens Mobility, the locomotive features a unique livery to commemorate CARGOUNIT's 20-year contribution to the development of the Polish and Central European railway industry. The donated locomotive is already the 200th vehicle in the rolling stock pool. The locomotive will be leased by DB Cargo from CARGOUNIT.

The Vectron MS on display has an output of 6.4 MW in AC operation and 6.0 MW in DC operation. The vehicle is equipped with an ECTS system that complies with current specifications. The multi-system electric locomotive from Siemens is approved for operation in Poland, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia and the Netherlands.

Vectron MS locomotives supply the rolling stock of, among others PKP Cargo, Laude Smart Intermodal, CARGOUNIT and Lotos Kolej. It should be noted that the Polish locomotive rental company is the largest customer of Siemens multisystem locomotives in Poland. It is also one of the leading providers of this type of service.
