GATX, one of the biggest players in the wagon rental business, has opened up its year with a delivery of an entire set of Zacns tank car wagons for ADM. This company is a global leader in human and animal nutrition. These tank cars, aimed at transporting ethanol, are already in operation in Hungary.
Zacns tank cars can take 97 m3 of liquid cargo and transport acetone, biodiesel, diesel fuel, fatty acid methyl esters, gasoline, light fuel oil, methanol, styrene or toluene. With a tare weight of 22.4 tonnes, their total weight is 90 tonnes and these wagons are 16.7 m long over buffers.
