With 15,300 freight wagons ordered, Greenbrier’s facilities will be busy producing new wagons for its markets. Unlike in the 2010s, when the crude-by-rail wave in North America drove demand, this time, orders vary from the point of view of customers and types of wagons.

The company manufactures railcars in various facilities worldwide, providing maintenance and lifecycle services and leasing a fleet of more than 12,500 wagons. In Europe, it has seven production facilities in Poland, Romania, and Turkey.
