Duos Technologies Group, Inc., a provider of machine vision and artificial intelligence solutions, has achieved a milestone by deploying its Railcar Inspection Portals technology at 13 locations across the North American rail network. The company uses AI-driven solutions that analyze high-speed moving vehicles, elevating railcar safety and performance to new heights.
Since the beginning of the year, Duos' RIP technology has conducted 3.8 million comprehensive railcar scans. The company will now deploy two advanced RIP systems on the high-speed rail network within the Northeast Corridor. These systems will leverage state-of-the-art machine vision technologies to capture safety data at speeds of up to 125 miles per hour, setting a new standard for accuracy and efficiency in railcar maintenance.
“Through our ongoing rail industry involvement, we have been active in identifying the key metrics to support an increased safety focus”, said Duos CEO Chuck Ferry and added: “Related to that engagement, we have continued to develop our technologies to further support those efforts including significant AI development whereby we already have more than 40 highly effective models, operating with an often greater than 95% accuracy.”
