Innoduler, part of the Innofreight Group, has delivered the 420th SurfaceWaterTank container to K+S, marking a milestone in their partnership. The tanks are used to transport saline water for K+S, a German raw materials company, and are loaded on 210 2×40 ft InnoWaggons.
Since the introduction of the SurfaceWaterTanks in 2020, K+S has gradually transitioned its transport operations to Innofreight's equipment. This shift has streamlined the transport process, and K+S now predominantly relies on Innofreight for its logistics needs. To maintain this efficiency, Innofreight will continue to manage the maintenance of both wagons and containers.
For this segment, Innofreight has started work on developing new ChemieTainers for intermodal transport.
