Created in 1970, the International Union for Road-Rail Combined Transport (UIRR) is the industry association for the sector of Combined Transport in Brussels.

The association of producers and repairers of rail vehicles is a union of legal entities gathered together according to the Civil Code of Slovak Republic. Its activity is classified as a non-profit making organization. The members of the association consist of the most distinguished companies dealing mostly with repairs, modernizing, production of rail vehicles and respective components as well as other related activities.
