Slovakia: Supporting Organisations

The Association of Railways Operators of Slovakia (AROS) brings together companies operating in the area of domestic and international rail freight transport in the Slovak Republic.

Our goal is to defend and represent the common interests of members against state and non-state domestic and foreign organizations, railway companies, security authorities and supervisory.

The association of producers and repairers of rail vehicles is a union of legal entities gathered together according to the Civil Code of Slovak Republic. Its activity is classified as a non-profit making organization. The members of the association consist of the most distinguished companies dealing mostly with repairs, modernizing, production of rail vehicles and respective components as well as other related activities.

The UIP with its seat in Brussels, is the umbrella association of national associations from fourteen European countries, thus representing more than 200 freight wagon keepers and ECMs.
