The biggest wagon repair company in Central Europe, ŽOS Trnava from Slovakia, signed a contract with Rail Cargo Austria to repair their fleet of freight wagons over the next years.
The biggest Austrian rail freight operator uses ŽOS Trnava as their primary wagon repair workshop and this collaboration now has a continuation into the future. For this year, 144 freight wagons were confirmed for repairs, with the number gradually growing as the demands occur. The workshop expects with 800 up to 1,000 freight wagons to be repaired at the Trnava facility in the coming years.
ŽOS Trnava manufactures new freight wagons, carries out revision repairs on them as well as on passenger coaches, and does their upgrades, modifications, and refurbishments. Within the ŽOS Trnava Group of companies, there is also ŽOS Zvolen, carrying out repairs, refurbishment and upgrades of locomotives.
