Hector Rail is strengthening its fleet. In cooperation with Alpha Trains, its fleet will soon have four new Siemens Mobility Vectron locomotives.
Two locomotives, approved for NO/SE, last-mile diesel module and remote control operation, have already been delivered. Two more, destined for the Scandinavian corridor, will also be capable of reaching a maximum speed of 200 km/h. This fast speed is an advantage for traction that Hector Rail provides for some passenger rail operators, such as Snälltåget.
For Alpha Trains, these are the first Vectron locomotives for Hector Rail. It is already leasing these locomotives in Sweden for Green Cargo and TX Logistik.
