The final development phase of the Intermodal Terminal Obrnice in the Czech Republic, near Ústí nad Labem and northwestern Czech border with Germany, has been completed by UPLINE CZ, increasing the total terminal area to 150,000 m².
The infrastructure works included the construction of a reinforced substructure designed to parameters comparable to those used for airport runways. According to the project details, the paved surfaces are engineered to support reach stackers with an operating weight of up to 127 tonnes, allowing the handling of heavy intermodal loads.
The expanded terminal is intended to support rail-road intermodal operations in Central Europe. The upgraded layout and load-bearing capacity are designed to accommodate intensive container handling and frequent equipment movements within the site.
UPLINE CZ is a combined transport company, offering multimodal and intermodal services for bulk logistics.
