Based on a contract signed in December 2022, Nexrail will start getting its 40 DE18 locomotives for the German market. Railmarket News brings you the news of who will lease them.

One year after the contract signature, in December 2023, Vossloh Rolling Stock will start rolling the first DE18 Stage V locomotives, 40 of which were ordered by ROSCO Nexrail. According to Nexrail, the remaining seven locomotives will soon get their lease contract.

The ROSCO also ordered thirty  DE 18 Stage V SmartHybrid locomotives, which are aimed to be approved for France, Belgium and Luxembourg and scheduled for delivery in H2 / H3 2024.
