The first out of four 9 MW Stadler EURO9000 locomotives for RTB Cargo was unveiled during a customer event of the former Rurtalbahn company at Talbot Services GmbH site. The RATH company will benefit from these locomotives' strength and dual modality on its north-south routes with the planned DACH + Italy, Belgium and Netherlands country package.
We should see these locomotives in operation soon as Dutch Rail Force One got its first EURO9000 locomotive from ELP ten days ago. There are more customers of ELP for these locomotives: HSL Logistik should get five, IGE Bahn, Lokomotion, and ecco-rail GmbH should each get two locomotives.
