If container volumes remain steady, this increased frequency will continue.

In September, GATX Rail Europe delivered brand-new Sggnss railcars to RTB Cargo directly from production. These railcars come equipped with the latest pin configuration for swap bodies, addressing RTB Cargo's increasing demand for container transport on the Rotterdam-Nuremberg route.

Hutchison Ports Europe Intermodal (HPEI) has been operating on the Nuremberg route since 2018 and has collaborated with RTB Cargo for over a decade in producing rail products. GATX Rail Europe has previously provided wagon sets for their joint operations.

RTB Cargo currently operates four round trips per week between Rotterdam and Nuremberg, with plans to increase to five round trips by the end of the year.
