The integration policies implemented by NX Group thus far assure us that the Austria-based cargo-partner will retain its organisational structure and branding. The agreement was signed on 12 May 2023, and it will take an additional 4 to 7 months to complete the transaction.
The advantage for cargo-partner is the new access to Asian and Pacific trade lanes. The founder and owner of the company, Stefan Krauter, will continue in a new role as a Corporate Supervisory Board and as an advisor to the Corporate Executive Board.
Cargo-partner was established 40 years ago. Today, it has 4,000 employees in 40 countries. The company crossed the billion euro milestone in global turnover for the first time in 2020. The company’s turnover in 2022 reached EUR 2.06 billion.
Among other services, cargo-partner offers containerised New Silk Road shipments by rail. Trains regularly depart from Shanghai and Shenzen to consolidation warehouses in Slovakian Dunajska Streda, Polish Brwinow and Wysygotow.
