Among other things, the new CEO Michal Brijar wants to focus on the rail business.

Thein Industry has appointed experienced manager Michal Brijar as CEO of the company. He will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, operations, and management of the individual companies within the group's portfolio. This gives former Thein Industry CEO Filip Budník the necessary capacity to plan strategic moves, finances, and future acquisitions.

Michal Brijar started his career in the technical department of the automotive industry, where he gradually worked his way up to head of the technology and project office. In other companies, he was mainly responsible for implementing new products, optimizing production processes, and improving performance. He also did consulting work where he helped with restructuring companies.

He gained most of his experience at Mall Group as manager of its transformation program. There he worked on high-priority initiatives across all functions, including product, technology, marketing, or sales, covering a wide range of topics and working towards achieving the company's strategy. He also served as Head of the Supply Chain at Mall Group, developing automated ordering platforms.

At Thein Industry, he will be challenged to develop the business and potential of small businesses, because the company is working to digitize them and gradually transform them into mid-sized businesses. He also wants to focus on the rail business and the energy sector with higher value-added custom manufacturing.

"At Thein Industry, we are trying to turn traditional family-owned companies into strong teammates within the group, with a focus on personnel stabilization of teams, standardization of processes, reporting, and a gradual move towards digitalization. I believe that I have the necessary experience in project management in the industry and that together with the Thein Industry team we will be able to achieve these goals," explains Michal Brijar.

Thein Industry also welcomed Eva Linder as a new CFO. Before joining the company, she held several management positions at international corporations and a technology start-up. She gained experience in an industrial environment after a long stint at Trane as General Manager for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Thein Industry is the industry-focused arm of Thein Investment Group, building its portfolio from complementary engineering companies to create unparalleled scalability of projects and services in an industrial environment. It focuses primarily on investments in the rail, energy, chemical, and manufacturing industries.

Thein Industry's specialties also include the development of proprietary hydrogen technologies used in rail and road transport. The Group's portfolio includes Czech companies Ponec, Cotring, Železniční dodavatelská, Hydrogenic Technology and Lokorent Services.
