His appointment follows more than two decades of experience in various positions within the Hungarian railway sector.

László Janó has taken on the role of Commercial Director at CER Hungary as of August 2024.

Beginning his career at MÁV, Janó worked initially as a ticket inspector, moving through several roles, including station and line reserve officer, training officer, and regional sales specialist. He also held responsibilities in operational management, coordinating regional services across key locations such as Szolnok, Kecskemét, and Szeged, among others. His duties ranged from ensuring safe operations to managing emergency situations and liaising with service providers and partners.

Janó holds academic qualifications in civil engineering from Széchenyi István University and supply chain management from Corvinus University. He is also certified in international freight forwarding, complementing his practical knowledge with theoretical insights into freight logistics.
