Wabtec Corporation has received a $157 million order from Siemens India Private Limited's Mobility Business for brake systems. This order is part of the 9000HP locomotive project for Indian Railways, involving the production of 1,200 electric locomotives. Wabtec’s Transit business in India is equipped to produce various subsystems including brake systems, pantographs, couplers, air-conditioning systems, and passenger access doors. Wabtec's engineering teams in Hosur and Bangalore will offer technical and service support for these projects.
