Beacon Rail is developing its lease business with REGIORAIL, a French operator from the EURORAIL group. After Class 66 diesel and Prima BB27300 electric locomotives, the two cooperating companies have agreed to sell and lease back the four DE18 locomotives in the Regio Rail fleet.
Apart from the actual owner, nothing will change for the French operation of these locomotives. Their maintenance will be supported by Imateq.
Through this step, Beacon’s fleet in France has exceeded 100 locomotives.
