The fleet now consists of five EuroDual and four Euro9000 locomotives.

BBL Logistik has signed a new leasing agreement with European Loc Pool (ELP) for two additional Euro9000 locomotives, expanding its fleet to a total of nine units leased from ELP.

The Euro9000, produced by Stadler Rail Valencia, is a six-axle multisystem locomotive featuring 9 MW of electric power, two diesel engines each providing 950 kW, and a tractive effort of 500 kN. It is designed for both electrified and non-electrified routes and can operate on DACHINLB corridors, with further expansions in planning.

The newly leased locomotives are intended primarily for heavy railway construction logistics, supporting operations on non-electrified construction sites. The dual-mode capabilities of the Euro9000 allow uninterrupted transport across varying infrastructure conditions without changing traction types.

The full-service leasing model provided by ELP covers maintenance and technical support throughout the lease term. Delivery of the two additional Euro9000 locomotives is scheduled for May 2025.

BBL Logistik specializes in construction site logistics, railway construction material transport, and related services, operating from its headquarters in Hanover and multiple branches across Germany, including a maintenance facility in Oebisfelde.
