The initial two locomotives have been successfully revised and have resumed service.

Siemens Mobility has recently completed the first major overhaul of Vectron MS locomotives for PKP CARGO, a notable step in the ongoing maintenance of a fleet that has been in operation since between 2015 and 2022. During this period, PKP CARGO acquired a total of 25 Vectron MS locomotives from Siemens Mobility. With eight years of operational service, the first 12 locomotives are now undergoing P4 periodic repairs.

The overhaul process is being conducted by Siemens Mobility's service branch in Poland, indicating a localized approach to maintenance. This first complete revision of Vectron MS locomotives in Poland includes a comprehensive range of services, from bogie overhauls to updates of brake systems, air conditioning units, fans, and safety systems. A significant portion of the repair work, including pantographs, high-speed switches, and air-conditioning equipment, is carried out within the country.
