This full-service agreement has a duration of a minimum of ten years from the locomotives' delivery. It covers all aspects of maintenance, from preventive and corrective to heavy-duty tasks, ensuring top-notch service for Alpha Trains' clientele across Europe.
This agreement builds on the announcement in 2023 by Alpha Trains of its initial purchase of 12 six-axle hybrid multi-system locomotives from Stadler's latest generation, with deliveries expected in 2025 and 2026.
Alpha Trains' Guus de Boer praised Stadler's extensive service network and stellar maintenance record, which he believes will enable Alpha Trains to deliver unparalleled service for these state-of-the-art locomotives.
Christian Mayer from Stadler emphasised the role of Stadler's flexible and innovative maintenance strategies in ensuring the locomotives' high availability. This, in turn, will position Alpha Trains' customers favourably in the market, supported by Stadler's service network and mobile teams across the DACHINLB region.
