The 4-axle intermodal wagons - type Sgmmnss 40' - were built by Tatravagonka in Poprad (Slovakia) and are suitable for ISO 20', 30' and 40' containers as well as swap bodies. All the new wagons have now arrived at Mercitalia Logistics in Turin and are in service. In July, the first batch of 67 wagons went into local service in Florence, transporting gravel from a tunnel construction site. Ermewa's rapid delivery and deployment of the wagons meets the needs of Mercitalia Logistics and, in particular, Mercitalia Rail, a company of the FS Group logistics hub.
