The Czech locomotive, model 181.121-5, was handed over to Polish operator FDM-REW last week. Polish operators in general are showing great interest in expanding their fleets. In particular, FDM-REW is requesting several more similar locomotives before the end of the year, which only confirms the growing trend of rail transport in Poland, explains Filip Budník, Investment Director at Thein Industry:

To ensure the highest technical quality and safety, the locomotives will be overhauled by RCS, a key partner of Lokorent Services, which plans to overhaul other Thein Industry locomotives in the future. RCS intends to focus on the repair of Czech locomotives on the Polish market with the support of other companies in the Thein Industry group. Specifically, in cooperation with Železniční Dodavatelská, which will supply spare parts, Ponec, which will participate in the eventual production of spare parts, and Sourcing Point Technology s.r.o., which is a reliable partner of Thein Industry and will contribute its expertise in the field of bonding.
