The open top box wagon has a lighter structure, enabling to transport one more tonne of material.

The approval process for the Eamnos 57 m³ "Light Version" Type E06B wagon has been completed at Greenbrier Europe’s facility in Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Romania. The assessment was conducted in cooperation with the certification body VUZ.

The Type E06B wagon is an adaptation of the E06A model, featuring a reduction in tare weight by one tonne due to thinner floor and box plates. This modification allows for an increased payload capacity of up to 72 tonnes. The wagon is designed for transporting heavy aggregates or iron ores and includes sidewall doors for cleaning access. A single weighing valve is installed to enable partial loading.

The wagon produced is aimed for Captrain Deutschland as a final customer.

The construction incorporates high-strength steel to improve durability under loading and unloading conditions. The Drobeta-Turnu Severin facility, which has been producing rolling stock since 1882, continues to manufacture, maintain, and refurbish freight wagons within its 93,000-square-meter site.
