The locomotive 66956 has arrived in Poland through the German port of Cuxhaven.

The delivery of the fourth locomotive to Freightliner PL this year was executed via transfer from a sister company in the UK, Freighliner Group. It departed from the port in Immingham, to its arrival in Poland via the port in Cuxhaven, Germany. It is scheduled to undergo technical work and adjustments to meet Polish railway standards, a process referred to as "polonisation." The locomotive is expected to be operational on Polish tracks soon, which will be a development in the company's service capabilities.

Earlier this year, locomotive 29007 from Beacon Rail was delivered to Freightliner PL too, as well as the locomotive 66021 (former 66526 in the UK). The total number of UK-transferred locomotives will rise to five. This will leave the company with 45 locomotives across these two countries – Germany and Poland.

In addition to locomotives, the operator expands its wagon fleet – from open-top wagons for transport of aggregates and coal, to grain hoppers.
