Locomotives will be built in Alstom plants in Kassel and Wroclaw.

Alstom has been contracted to supply CLIP Intermodal with 13 Traxx multi-system locomotives, with authorization for operations along the Poland-France route across six countries: Poland, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, and France. This deal, finalized in the first quarter of 2024, not only involves the production of the locomotives but also a two-year preventive maintenance service within the warranty period.

The locomotives are designed to reach speeds up to 160 kilometers per hour and will feature the advanced Onvia signaling system, Alstom's solution for the European Train Control System (ETCS), enabling operations across a broad range of countries and lines.

Manufacturing of the rolling stock will take place at Alstom's Kassel plant in Germany, while the locomotive bodies will be produced at the Alstom Polska plant in Wrocław.
