While the first two positions remained unchanged, the situation in the other top ten places has changed considerably.
As in the previous year, the Czech national carrier ČD Cargo leads the freight transport market with 17.5 billion gross tonne-kilometres. Metrans Rail remains in second place with almost three billion gross tonne-kilometres.
And a newcomer in the third place is Orlen Unipetrol Transport with 1.6 billion gross tonne-kilometres.
