In 2023, this approach is expected to shift thousands of truckloads to rail, contributing to substantial CO₂ emission savings.
To make this happen, Amazon partners with CargoBeamer to help get its semitrailers into pocket wagons while using intermodal routes and terminals of VIIA and services of the Mercitalia Group.
