German rail infrastructure company Vossloh has secured a significant contract for the delivery of rail fastening systems in China. The order, worth almost €50 million, is for the construction of a new high-speed line connecting the cities of Xiong'an and Shangqiu. With a planned length of over 600 kilometers and speeds of up to 350 km/h, the new high-speed line will significantly improve mobility and contribute to the economic development of the region. Most of the rail fastening systems are scheduled for delivery in 2024.

"This order confirms our technological excellence and our ability to provide innovative and reliable fastening solutions that can withstand the highest loads. Vossloh has been making a significant contribution to the development of modern and sustainable transport infrastructure in China for 17 years now,” commented Oliver Schuster, CEO of Vossloh AG.

China's high-speed rail network already covers more than 40,000 kilometers and is expected to expand significantly to over 70,000 kilometers by 2035. Vossloh's presence in China, including its subsidiary Vossloh Fastening Systems China Co. Ltd. in Kunshan, positions the company as one of the leading local suppliers of rail fastening systems for demanding applications, especially on high-speed lines.
