Czech company DT - Výhybkárna a strojírna: Deal in Germany for €6.6 million

In addition to German projects, the company, which specialises in rail turnout components, will also supply other countries - Sweden, the UK, Italy, Canada, Portugal, the Netherlands and, traditionally, Slovakia.

In Germany they have realized these three key orders:

  • Tram turnouts for the cities of Bremen, Duisburg, Cologne and Krefeld. .
  • Rail turnouts for Hansebahn Bremen (HBB) company, which maintains more than 100 km of rail network for ArcelorMittal's steelworks in Bremen
  • Projects for the VAG Nuremberg metro - the reconstruction of the U3 metro line and the second phase of the reconstruction of the Langwasser maintenance and stabling depot in Nuremberg.

"In total, we have concluded contracts worth more than one and a half billion Czech crowns (€60 million) this year and export orders play a significant part in this volume," says Marek Smolka, CEO of the company.

Besides Germany, the company will continue to execute orders (mainly switches) for the supply in the UK for Network Rail's rail network, Canada, Portugal, Italy and the Czech Republic.
