"Despite our economic success, we have humbly built into our business in 2023 the fact that the only certainty for the future is uncertainty. Our path for the future is to expand our product portfolio and innovate existing products to increase the added value for our customers. The railway is gradually becoming one big cyberspace, highly dependent on a stable power supply, which will increasingly require resilient cyber
resilient cyber solutions, and where, as in aviation, the most vulnerable point will be the vehicle itself. It is clear that the emphasis on safety, and not just ETCS, will place new demands on vehicles in leaps and bounds in the coming years, and not just on new vehicles," adds VUZ CEO Martin Bělčík.
In 2023, VUZ presented its strategy until 2030, which includes the development of VUZ Velim ZC to expand the infrastructure for autonomous vehicle testing and cyber resilience testing of vehicles, the development of the testing laboratory to provide services directly at the customer's site, and the expansion of the service portfolio to include the areas of ETCS testing, GNSS signal interference immunity testing, the expansion of accreditation in areas related to rail transport, the expansion of certification services, the expansion of ESG services, and a number of other investments.
