Hexafret inspects open box wagon production at Greenbrier’s Severin site

Greenbrier Europe hosted a visit from Hexafret at its manufacturing facility in Drobeta Turnu Severin, Romania, where production is underway for new freight wagons ordered by the French logistics operator.

The wagons in question are open-top Eamnos type models with a capacity of 57 m³. They are designed as four-axle open box wagons for transporting bulk materials such as scrap, aggregates or steel components.

The Severin site is part of Greenbrier Europe’s broader network and specialises in freight-wagon production, refurbishment and maintenance.

Hexafret, part of Rail Logistics Europe, focuses on rail wagon pooling services and operates across various European markets.
