Breedon Group, an international construction materials group, has ordered 54 JPA powder tank wagons equipped with VTG Rail UK's iWagon technology. The wagons are scheduled for delivery in January 2026 and will be built by Feldbinder, a manufacturer specializing in tank wagons.
The JPA wagons are designed for bulk transportation of powder cement and include real-time monitoring capabilities enabled by integrated sensors, data analytics, and automation systems.
The iWagon technology provides detailed data on wagon performance, safety, and operational efficiency, allowing real-time tracking and optimization of logistics processes. Breedon plans to integrate the wagons into its core network routes in 2026 to support its supply chain operations across the UK.
