By introducing these locomotives, ČEPRO aims to improve the safe and smooth delivery of fuel to its storage system.

ČEPRO, one of the largest fuel suppliers in the Czech Republic, will grow its locomotive fleet with two modern EffiShunter 1000 locomotives from CZ LOKO. The first locomotive is scheduled for delivery at the turn of 2024 and 2025 and will be deployed at the Loukov terminal in the Kroměříž region, replacing the less powerful model 723.7. The delivery includes preparation for the installation of the mobile part of the European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 2 in a shunting version. The second locomotive is planned for acquisition during 2025 to serve the fuel terminal in Šlapanov near Havlíčkův Brod.

CZ LOKO will also handle inspections, service, and repairs of ČEPRO's locomotive fleet for the next 48 months, following success in a public tender. This arrangement allows customers to focus fully on their business while ČEPRO ensures uninterrupted operation of its terminals without additional concerns related to locomotive maintenance. The fleet also includes four EffiShunter 600s and one EffiShunter 300, which the company acquired in recent years.
