During recent events, such as door open day at CZ LOKO premises, Rail Business Days trade fair, CZ LOKO shown some of its new locomotives from the successful EffiShunter1000 platform.
Two previously announced customers are SUAS (active in the fields of mining and energy) and Hrochostroj, the rail construction company. Hrochostroj gets 744 161, while SUAS gets the following number - 744 162.
In addition to that, ČD Cargo which kept CZ LOKO production lines busy primarily with 75 (+5 in option) modernizations of EffiShunters1000M. However, the Czech freight rail carrier also operates 10 newly built EffiShunters1000. Shortly before summer 2024, the operator added two more locomotives of this type, increasing the total number to 12. Locomotive 744 179 has already been produced and 180 will follow by the end of the year. Both will be deployed in the eastern part of the country.
