ODEG – Ostdeutsche Eisenbahn has taken delivery of two Siemens Mobility Desiro Mainline electric multiple units from Alpha Trains.
The two additional units expand the existing fleet used in the region, aiming to cover increasing passenger demand. Maintenance of the trains will be carried out by ÖBB-Technische Services.
The Desiro ML units are part of Siemens Mobility’s standard regional train platform, configured for ODEG’s operational requirements. They will enter service in regular passenger operation in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
