The total investment value is estimated at more than PLN 369m (around EUR 86m).

With nearly PLN 148m (approximately EUR 34m) in EU funding, PCC Intermodal has proceeds with plans for construction of a container transshipment terminal in Ropczyce, south-east Poland.

The project covers the development of a 13-hectare site along Przemysłowa Street, where PCC Intermodal plans to build a container terminal with associated infrastructure. The company began discussions with the Ropczyce municipality in 2016 and acquired the land for the scheme in the same year.

On 19 February 2026, PCC Intermodal launched a tender for a contractor to carry out construction works and obtain an occupancy permit. The contract estimates completion of works within 24 months from signature.

Terminal location will be supported by planned road infrastructure. New terminal lies between Krakow, Tarnow, and Rzeszow, just 30 west of the last mentioned. It is also situated around 130 km west of the Ukrainian border.
