TransANT GmbH has manufactured the first out of 25 intermodal wagons for a leading wagon rental company from Poland, EUROWAGON.

TransANT, a joint venture of voestalpine Stahl, ÖBB Rail Cargo Group and TAS Group, has finalised the production of the first 60ft Sg* wagons for the transport of 20, 30 and 40-foor containers or bodies. The customer is Polish wagons leasing company EUROWAGON, which ordered 25 of these intermodal wagons, the lightest platforms on the European market, eight months ago.

New wagons have a dead weight of 16.5 tonnes and are 19.8 meters long. These TransANT wagons can also be retrofitted with modular, customised 60 ft superstructures based on changing transport requirements.
