The milestone vehicle was a MAN truck transported on the Brzesko–Rhein route between Poland and Germany.

The number of trucks moved using the r2L (RoadRailLink) MultiUse connector has reached 10,000, according to VEGA International Car-Transport and Logistic-Trading.

The r2L MultiUse connector enables the loading of rubber-tired vehicles—including semi-trailers, truck tractors, light commercial vehicles, and passenger cars—directly onto rail wagons. The system accommodates up to 38 semi-trailers, 76 trucks, or 114 commercial vehicles per train. The configuration also allows for mixed combinations.

The Brzesko–Rhein intermodal connection currently operates twice a week, with each train carrying up to 70 trucks. Rail traction on this route is provided by Rail Force One. The on-site loading at the Polish terminal is coordinated by CONVOY LOGISTICS PLATFORM and terminal operator KARPIEL.

The company continues to deploy the r2L connector system as part of its regular operations. The connector offers an alternative to traditional road transport by shifting part of the haulage volume to rail. This shift is driven by the compatibility of the system with standard trailers and other wheeled units without requiring loading docks or modifications to the vehicles.
