DPB Rail Infra Service Hungary Kft., a subsidiary of the German-based DPB Rail Infra Service GmbH, has received its official safety certificate for railway operations within Hungary.

The certification confirms that the company’s internal safety management system complies with the EU’s requirements for rail operators. This includes operational standards, risk management protocols, and monitoring processes laid out by European railway law.

With this step, the Hungarian entity of DPB Rail Infra Service is formally authorised to carry out freight transport and infrastructure-related activities on the Hungarian national railway network.

DPB Rail Infra Service Hungary Kft. is part of the wider international structure of DPB Rail Infra Service, which continues to expand its presence in Central and Eastern Europe. The safety certificate is a legal prerequisite for initiating independent rail operations within Hungary.
