GATX Rail Europe has announced that its fleet has reached 30,000 wagons. The fleet’s expansion includes annual deliveries of approximately 2,000 newly built wagons, ensuring a modern and adaptable portfolio for its more than 250 customers.
Recent additions include Laaers automobile carriers, which support vehicle transport for customers like Hödlmayr, as well as new lime-green tank cars sought after in the chemicals sector. Investments have also been made in Tagnpps cars designed for grain transport, a key segment for agricultural logistics.
GATX Rail Europe has shifted from a predominantly tank wagon fleet to a more diverse range of options. This approach supports customer demands for tailored logistics solutions while maintaining safety and reliability standards.
