Romania on the Intermodal Map: Insights from TransLogistica 2025

From 14–16 October 2025, Pavilion B1 at ROMEXPO Bucharest will host the fourth edition of TransLogistica Romania, one of the leading transport and logistics exhibitions in Central and Eastern Europe.

Alongside the exhibition area, the event will feature a three-day conference organized by the Freight Forwarders’ Association of Romania (USER), the exhibition’s main partner. Among its highlights will be a dedicated panel on the future of rail and intermodal transport.

Confirmed speakers  

Moderated by Iuliana Badea, Secretary General of USER, the panel will bring together European officials, national authorities, and industry leaders. Speakers include Simona Istrate, President of the Romanian Private Railway Operators Association (OPSFPR), and Filip-Alexandru Negreanu-Arboreanu, Deputy Director-General at DG MOVE – European Commission. They will be joined by Claudiu Staicu from the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Rémi Penet, Policy & Project Officer at the International Union for Road-Rail Combined Transport (UIRR), and Amedeo Neculcea, General Manager of GP Intermodal and Vice President of USER. Complementing them, executives from the private intermodal sector will share practical insights and address the industry’s most pressing challenges.
