RailNetEurope started in January 2004 on the initiative of a number of European railway Infrastructure Managers and Allocation Bodies, who wished to establish a common, Europe-wide organisation.

The Association of the Railway Industry represents the interests of a strong and steadily growing sector in Austria and is committed to the constant improvement of the framework conditions.

The Association of Austrian Private Freight Car Customers, or VPI for short, represents the interests of 40 member companies. We represent the interests of independent wagon keepers.

Austrian Logistics was founded by the Federal Ministry BMK. The aim is to highlight the excellent services provided by Austrian logistic companies throughout the world.

The BVL Bundesvereinigung Logistik Österreich has been acting as the competence network for this sector for its further development for over four decades.

The Fachverband der Schienenbahnen (Professional Association of Railways) is the Austria-wide representation of interests for all railways and urban local transport companies.

The transport and services union has around 134,000 members. The railway department in the vida union represents the interests of all employees of the Austrian railway and cable car companies.

We are a multidisciplinary and versatile structure, consisting of operative divisions specialised in the various sectors of competence, able to offer global services in many industrial sectors.
