SCONRAIL is the Swiss conformity assessment body with an international scope for EC tests, ECM certifications, risk assessments and inspections in the railway sector.

As the Italian FS Group, we have been actively participating in the progress of the country for over 100 years, looking after the mobility of young people, families and workers, of a society that is changing and evolving at a dizzying pace, that is speeding up, whilst at the same time trying to keep in touch through ever faster and more efficient systems. Our core business has always been the safe, comfortable and efficient transport of millions of people. For this reason, our main strategic objective is to guarantee the best quality of service in terms of national territorial capillarity, punctuality, safety and comfort, always putting the passenger at the heart of all decision-making processes.

We are a multidisciplinary and versatile structure, consisting of operative divisions specialised in the various sectors of competence, able to offer global services in many industrial sectors.

SWISSRAIL Industry Association is the local and global association of the Swiss railway industry and the Swiss railway engineering companies. It incorporates more than one hundred members.

The BAV is the supervisory authority responsible for public transport in Switzerland (railways, cableways, ships, trams and buses). Large areas of freight transport also fall within the BAV’s remit.

Our association is there to keep your interests on track. We give a voice to the loading industry, working to ensure a viable freight rail system that keeps your goods – and competition – moving.

We ensure non-discriminatory access to the rail network and to the intermodal freight terminals, and contribute to making Switzerland's railway system competitive.

The VSLF is a professional association and represents the interests of the locomotive drivers and candidates. By joining, you support us to achieve our goals.

The OUESTRAIL association aims to promote the development of rail in Western Switzerland.

DITECFER supports its Shareholders in all research and innovation activities, acquisition of strategic know-how and business networking (Tuscan).

Railway undertakings should have fair and equal access to the Swiss rail network. We are responsible for the impartial planning, allocation and optimisation of usage rights (train paths).
