The DB5 is a lowered flat wagon developed for automotive logistics requirements. It features a loading height of 1,000 mm above rail level and is equipped with scotch blocks for vehicle securing.

The payload is up to 51.3 tonnes per wagon, enabling high utilisation in regular operations.

The DB5 is configured for drive-on loading and fitted with fixed railings as standard. These provide protection for loading personnel and support stable loading processes, particularly for vans and other taller vehicle types.
