Magyar Vagon Vasúti has announced it will soon present the IC+NEO, an updated intercity passenger coach designed for large-scale domestic and international production.
The IC+NEO includes ergonomic seating, an upgraded climate control system, and technical adjustments aimed at improving operational reliability. Magyar Vagon optimized the coach design to align with current European passenger requirements and sustainability standards for long-distance rail travel.
This development follows the manufacturing of the original IC+ series at the Szolnok production site. While the manufacturer has not yet released specific technical data sheets or delivery timelines, the platform is intended to address fleet renewal needs for operators seeking standardized intercity rolling stock.
Magyar Vagon is expected to release detailed performance data and configuration options for the IC+NEO in the coming weeks.
