The new Vectron features ELL’s standard livery with Freightliner branding.

Freightliner PL has taken delivery of its first locomotive from European Locomotive Leasing (ELL). The locomotive is configured for intermodal services and is scheduled to be deployed on cross-border routes between Poland and the Netherlands.

This unit is the first Vectron leased by ELL to operate in Poland this year. The delivery expands Freightliner PL’s rolling stock portfolio, positioning the operator to further engage in international freight movements.

Vectron 193.880 belongs to the MS series produced by Siemens Mobility and is compatible with multiple electrification systems used across Central and Western Europe. The unit’s technical configuration supports long-haul freight operations across several national networks, including Poland, Germany, and the Netherlands.

The event marks the continuation of ELL’s leasing activity in Central Europe. PKP Cargotabor provided logistical support for the handover procedure in western Poland.
